Green milk for breakfast…

Due to a spot of bad planning, there was no milk for breakfast this morning.

We’re not a dairy loving family, but we usually have a smorgasbord of milks to choose from. But not today.

So in desperation I looked around the kitchen for something to make milk out of for the kids’ cereal. No bananas, just a bowl of ripe avocadoes. So I put one small avocado (about half the usual size) into a jug with a cup of filtered water, blended it up with the stick mixer and 30 seconds later, there it was. Green milk.

And poured over cereal with a drizzle of honey, it was yum!
